Jack (James McKenna) and Frankie (Helen Pearson) are both disheartened and worried about losing the pub, but although they try to reassure Newt (Nico Mirallegro) that everything will be okay, he remains troubled. Zoe (Zoë Lister) packs up the last of her belongings at the Barnes, while Mike (Tony Hirst) unsuccessfully tries to balance babysitting Leah and convincing Zoe to stay. Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) is marched to school by Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane), but Niall (Barry Sloane) intervenes, telling Myra that there's a cleaning job at Evissa if she wants it. At the 'Mr. Hollyoaks' contest, Rhys (Andrew Moss), Zak (Kent Riley) and Elliot (Garnon Davies) are aghast to discover a late entrant: Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).
