This year we can expect the lot – Tears, tantrums and secrets…Revealed.Myra’s long lost son finally finds her, how will the rest of the McQueen’s take the news of having another brother, who like, John-Paul is possibly gay.Nancy gets taken away…By the police, Rhys and Beth give in to temptations and have a flirty kiss and maybe more, despite being brother and sister.Jacqui’s dreams to be a mother comes true, but will her heart be broken by lover, Tony?Well hopefully everything will be settled by the New Year – Yeah right!If everything is blowing up this Christmas, we can guarantee it’ll be happening in Chester; yes Hollyoaks is the thing to watch this Festive season. Secrets will be revealed, flirty temptations get too much and a new arrival to the show will find his long lost mother, who doesn’t know her son, she hasn’t seen for years is working with daughter, Carmel. Christmas at the McQueen’s will not be an easy one, but then again, who thought it would be? Niall, newcomer to Hollyoaks, who is currently working for Louise in her salon is really in Chester, to track down his mother – who abandoned him shortly after birth. Myra can’t possibly keep her secret quiet any longer when she sees’s Niall, can she? Well it looks like Myra won’t realize who he is – and he’s not going to tell… For now.

Yes Niall doesn’t want to get to know his family and rebuild his future around this new life. Niall has already learned that Myra gave birth to him when she was 14, and was forced by her parents to dump him at a church. So he’s here to stir things up – Punishment is all that’s on Niall’s mind. He’s planning to act oblivious when he spends Christmas with the McQueen’s after an invite due to his polite ways, and begins thinking of ways to get his own back by splitting the family up. He wants all of the McQueen’s to feel how he has felt all this time – Lonely.

Will the secret be revealed in time for Christmas or after he’s kept them sweet over Christmas lunch? Or is he going to keep his mouth shut for a while?

We also see the aftermath of Rhys and Beth’s kiss and canoodle over Christmas, after the two give in to their true feelings for each other on Boxing Day. Rhys’ relationship with Sarah is already over and Beth and Rhys find themselves alone. Watch over Christmas to find out exactly what goes on.Will Jacqui become the mother she’s always wanted to be? Well it looks like her dreams will finally come true.Tina’s marriage is well and truly over with Dom and all Tina wants to see is her sister happy. She agrees to be a surrogate mother for Jacqui – She’ll be expected to have a baby for her and Tony. Obviously it’s no that easy however, Tony can’t please his other half and his brother can he? Dom pleads with him to stop the surrogacy.

Finally, what’s Christmas without a police station? History seems to be repeating itself in Nancy’s World, when over Christmas she’s arrested after allegations about her relationship with school boy Newt, made by fiancé, Jake.
