Anxious to prove she has maternal abilities, Steph (Carley Stenson) agrees to baby-sit Tom (Ellis Hollins) and Charlie and collect Newt (Nico Mirallegro) from school. Max (Matt Littler) is shocked when he discovers that Frankie (Helen Pearson) told Steph she was not cut out to be a parent. Finding Summer (Summer Strallen) amusing and endearing, Nancy (Jessica Fox) and Sarah (Loui Batley) think she could be a laugh to hang around with. Summer enquires about a local guy she is rather keen on, but they are left wondering what's up when Summer receives a visitor: her boyfriend James (Chris Brazier).
