Danny (David Judge) convinces Justin (Chris Fountain) that the Fresher's Ball is the perfect opportunity to win Katy (Hannah Tointon) back. Although Katy rebuffs Justin's advances, she cannot get him out of her mind. Things are heating up at the party as a drunken Nancy (Jessica Fox) lays into John Paul (James Sutton). Justin reluctantly intervenes and pulls John Paul away, just as Katy catches a glimpse of the fracas and gets the wrong end of the stick.Tension is rife between Jess (Jennifer Biddall) and Zoe (Zoë Lister) after Jess stole Zoe's money. Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is in his element when they arrive at the ball, but when Jess 'accidentally' ruins Zoe's dress, Zoe decides enough is enough.
