The 'Britain's Got Talent' winner, who shot to fame with his impressive street dance routines in 2008, is set to make a guest appearance in the ITV soap at the end of next month.

He said: "I'm really excited to play a guest part in 'Emmerdale'. The cast and crew have been really friendly and the village is a spectacular place to be. It's such an iconic show and it's brilliant to be able to be a part of it."

And the 22-year-old dancer, who will appear in four episodes, is no stranger to acting as he also played student Kyle Stack in 'Waterloo Road' on and off from 2011 until 2013.

He also had a minor role in 'Casualty' and appeared briefly in the comedy-drama 'The Dumping Ground' on CBBC in 2014.

But his acting career extends further than just the small screen as he made his stage debut in the West End hip-hop musical 'Into the Hoods' shortly after his win in 2008.

Meanwhile, George's decision to throw himself into acting came after doctors warned him his passion for dancing could lead to him being permanently crippled due to his battle with Scheuermann's disease, which is a curvature of the spine.
