The net seems to be tightening on Emma Barton in Emmerdale, but that won’t stop the killer from finding a new target in her crosshairs, as actor Adam Thomas reveals his soap character Adam Barton could be in serious danger in the coming episodes.

Squaring up to Emma in the pub, Ross defends his mother and punches Adam, but that’s not where things are going to end as Emma decides she’ll throw a spanner into the workings of Adam’s relationship with Victoria, learning about his kiss with Vanessa Woodfield.
Speaking to Metro, Adam Thomas said: “I think later down the line, he will regret his row with Emma, yeah. With Emma’s past history I think it might turn out – well, I don’t know how it’s going to turn out. But getting into conflict with Emma is never good. There’s some stuff that’s going to happen that’s going to be quite fun, I think.”
The actor seemed close to spilling some secrets before correcting himself and making sure that any spoilers were kept closely under wraps. So could we see the Barton boy bowing out of the soap? Or is there something else that Emma has up her sleeves?
