The prosecution presents its case to the jury and Charity is left unnerved to discover Sam's made no promises of support for her during the trial. Troubled further when examining of her feelings towards Cain takes place, a truce could be on the cards elsewhere when Tracy heads with the money she owes to the Dingles house. Finn and Ross are surprised when Emma later turns up on their doorstep.

In an hour-long episode due to the National Television Awards airing on Wednesday, Charity's preparing to confess her feelings for Cain during her trial, but she's interrupted before she has the chance by a suspicious Chas. Sam is the first witness to take to the stand, and as he struggles to lie about Declan the prosecution are satisfied that Charity's painted in a damning light. Later, Robert and Aaron find a new way to get intimate, and Ross does his best to scare Emma back into the family with a staged burglary - Finn however is worried the plan could end in disaster.
Thursday, January 22, 2015 (7pm, 8pm, ITV)
In tonight's double episode, Emma's boys Ross and Finn do their best to persuade her to stay in the village before an unexpected suggestion comes from James. Meanwhile, Jimmy says he's moving his business out of the house leaving Nicole pleased, and he goes on to surprise her with champagne before she steels herself for an intimate afternoon. Samson's birthday party is prepared by Sam and Tracy, and Zak isn't pleased about the pair's growing friendship.
Later, Pete refuses to forgive Emma about the past, but she's keen to win over the Barton guys, sensing an opportunity to build bridges with Ross using what she knows about Donna. Nicola's worried following her failed afternoon of passion with Jimmy, and Adam asks Moira to take back his share of the farm so he can buy Eric's silence over the scrapyard situation.

Andy and Chrissie talk business whilst Katie warns Robert she's keeping a close eye on him, before telling his bride-to-be not to trust her fiancé. Elsewhere, Sam's apologised to by Tracy for the way in which she acted before she left, but when the two go in for a kiss they're interrupted. Jimmy pressures Nicola to explain what's wrong and why their intimacy fails - will she give in and tell all?
