(Verity Rushworth) that as they can't prove her allegations against Shane (Paul McEwan) she should withdraw her complaint. However she's at breaking point after Shane threatens her once again, and tells Marlon (Mark Charnock) that she's thinking of resigning. When Ross (Samuel Anderson) overhears, guilt-ridden he confesses all to Marlon about why he hasn't told the truth. Initially furious, Marlon agrees to keep it from Donna in return for his help in getting back at Shane. Will the cocky copper finally get his comeuppance?Elsewhere, Shadrach (Andy Devine) makes a big effort attempting to cook a meal in preparation for Gennie's (Sian Reese-Williams) visit. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) arrives late and the others have already started. Put out when Shadrach admits that he forgot she was coming, Chas's jealousy is compounded as she witnesses her father and his prodigal daughter bonding in the pig sty. Can Chas cope with a new sister in on the act?
