Samson's (Ben Shooter) health deteriorates but Sam (James Hooton) is wary of the security at the hospital and calls Marlon (Mark Charnock) for help. Marlon relays Sam's story to Donna (Verity Rushworth) who calls for police assistance. Surrounding the building Sam is supposedly hiding in, the police find nothing, unaware Marlon has tipped Sam off. In spite of Donna's presence, Sam opens up to his cousin and is eventually convinced to turn himself in. On arrival at the police station there is a tug-of-war between police and Dingles and Sam finds himself arrested and Samson taken away. Shouting his belief that he's been betrayed, Sam is led to a cell. Are his troubles just beginning?Also, Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) remains cold towards Lexi (Sally Oliver) while growing more friendly with the devious Debbie (Charley Webb). Scarlett is thoughtful when Debbie offers her a room at Tug Ghyll, but Daz (Luke Tittensor) convinces her that if she moves into Home Farm she can keep an eye on the Kings. Matthew (Matt Healy) is stunned to find Lexi (Sally Oliver) and Scarlett on the doorstep as the power struggles within the King family threaten to erupt once more.Meanwhile, as Carl (Tom Lister) packs his bags Matthew reminds him who the decision maker is in the family business. Meeting Lexi in the pub, Carl bemoans his lack of success but she warns him against cutting his ties with his brothers. Agreeing wholeheartedly, Carl does move into Dale View but decides to remain with King & Sons. Will Carl's fake gesture of loyalty seem genuine?
