The solicitor reveals the decision of who will be Scarlett's (Kelsey Beth Crossley) trustee. Carl (Tom Lister), Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Lexi (Sally Oliver) are left reeling as the trustee is revealed as Matthew (Matt Healy). As they question him Matthew reveals that, while he was away, the solicitors knew to contact him if anything came up, smug that he still managed to run the show whilst out of the country. When a furious Lexi threatens to ring Carrie, Matthew shoots her down, insisting that she doesn’t care about Scarlett, only herself.Matthew grabs her and attempts to throw her out, all played out in front of a previously unseen Scarlett stood in the doorway. In their determination to control Scarlett's money, have they lost sight of what's important?Jack (Clive Hornby) and Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) return from court with news that she’s been given a referral order, meaning that she’s to see a criminal justice worker and carry on seeing the psychiatrist. When Daz (Luke Tittensor) remarks that it’s all over now, Victoria snaps back and reminds him that everyone at school thinks she’s mental, Andy’s (Kelvin Fletcher) in prison and she’s seeing a psychiatrist. It’s clear that things are far from being back to normal. However, when Jake (James Baxter) turns up for lunch, Victoria perks up much to the amusement of Jack and Daz.
