Pollard (Chris Chittell) arrive at the Dingles and suggests to Zak (Steve Halliwell) that they do a TV appeal for Sam (James Hooton). Lisa (Jane Cox) helps to persuade Zak that it's the right thing to do and by the end of the broadcast both are in tears. Later that day, Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is surprised when Gray tells her that he is beginning to feel very close to Katie, and suggests that Katie may not be as understanding as Perdy (Georgia Slowe) was about him being gay. Striking a chord, can Gray bury his urges this time around or is history about to repeat itself?Elsewhere, Val (Charlie Hardwick) shocks everyone when she agrees to join Viv's (Deena Payne) charity aerobics display. However she later admits to Diane that her operation is the same day as the fundraiser and has no intention of climbing into a plane. Will Val's flight of fancy come back to haunt her?
