Katie (Sammy Winward) is furious when Gray (Christopher Villiers) reveals to her that Perdy's (Georgia Slowe) left him for Matthew (Matt Healy). High, dry and pregnant, the young surrogate demands to know where that leaves her. Storming over to confront Perdy, Katie deals her a short shrift and admits that this recent development could change everything. Terrified, Perdy makes it Gray's problem to solve, blackmailing him into the bargain. Will Perdy do anything to avoid losing another baby?Meanwhile, Jack (Clive Hornby) reveals to the rest of the family that his and Diane's (Elizabeth Estensen) marriage is over. While Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) takes great delight in rubbing it in Diane's face, Val (Charlie Hardwick) is quick to defend her sister. When she questions why Jack can't give Diane one more chance, he insists that it's over but Val sees that he's just as devastated as Diane. When she relays this back to her at the pub, Diane sees a glimmer of hope but is there anything left to be salvaged?
