Katie (Sammy Winward) sits down with Perdy (Georgia Slowe) and Gray (Christopher Villiers) and again offers to be a surrogate mother. After Perdy reacts badly, Katie leaves and worries she's made a mistake. However, Gray talks Perdy round and they agree to give Katie their approval. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) again protests to Katie that her judgement is flawed but Katie retorts even more fiercely than before. Is Katie becoming blinded by her crush on Gray?Elsewhere, Zak (Steve Halliwell) is confused when Sam (James Hooton) embarks on a sudden moneymaking scheme. He eventually reveals that he's saving for a house of his own, an idea which baffles Zak and Lisa (Jane Cox). Sam faces a setback when he's refused a council house and so asks Pollard (Chris Chittell) for a helping hand. Will Pollard fight the Dingles to help Sam achieve his dream home?Also, with Pollard still confined to a wheelchair, Val (Charlie Hardwick) is asked by David (Matthew Wolfenden) to help his dad attend a business meeting. Val is pleased to have attended when it turns out his client is a voluptuous woman and the green eyed monster takes over. Val sidelines Pollard by taking full control of the meeting and after seeing the client out of the door, Val spies Pollard getting out of his wheelchair. How will Val get her revenge?
