Lexi (Sally Oliver) grows suspicious at Debbie (Charley Webb) nonchalant reaction to the loss of the necklace. Rodney (Patrick Mower) tells Bruce (Malcolm Tomlinson) that the necklace is fake and so he storms round to hear Debbie's story. When he starts turning violent, Eli (Joseph Gilgun) is forced to step in and deals his opponent a hefty beating. When the other girls hear about the necklace being fake, Lexi continues to suspect foul play. Will she find evidence to implicate Debbie?Elsewhere, when news of Grace's (Glynis Barber) mother's death reaches the local papers, Carl (Tom Lister) is stunned that she's still avoiding him. Will Grace give in to grief and call back?Meanwhile, Perdy (Georgia Slowe) comes home on a day visit and together with Rosemary (Linda Thorson) they play nice for Grayson's (Christopher Villiers) sake. After Perdy apologises for her recent behaviour, Rosemary is stunned to learn that she may return home for good.. In desperation, she crushes another malaria tablet into Perdy's drink. However, her daughter-in-law doesn't drink up and Rosemary is thwarted. How far will she go to keep Perdy incapacitated?
