With Carl (Tom Lister) out of the picture, Grace (Glynis Barber) finds that her success rate at work skyrockets. Meanwhile, the Kings' search for the missing necklace is stalled when Carl returns home early. He insists to his brothers he's over Grace, but then heads straight to see her. She refuses to let him in but is clearly still torn by her feelings for him. However she's astonished to discover that Carl's told Matthew (Matt Healy) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) about the two of them, and tells him to go. In his desperation to see her, he deliberately gets himself arrested for drink driving. Will this get the DCI's attention?Elsewhere, Debbie (Charley Webb) is unimpressed as Lexi (Sally Oliver) takes charge of the necklace following the heist. Eli (Joseph Gilgun) guesses from Debbie's smugness that she was involved in the theft, and Rodney (Patrick Mower) watches them suspiciously.
Keen to regain control over the situation, she sees Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Lexi asleep in the Woolpack, and pockets the necklace herself.
When the snoring pair wait, Lexi jumps to the right conclusion as to the whereabouts of the jewellery.
Will the girls distrust of each other bring about their downfall?
Over at Tall Trees, the atmosphere is tense as Donna (Verity Rushworth) gives Marlon (Mark Charnock) the silent treatment.
Meanwhile, Eli is quick to remind her later that if she brings him down, he'll take Marlon with him.
His confidence in the situation is affirmed when he brazenly moves back into Tall Trees, leaving Donna and Marlon appalled.
Will his presence dash any hopes that Marlon had of mending his marriage to Donna?
