As the pregnancy drags on, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) grows more and more uncomfortable. Returning from the river with Jasmine (Jenna Louise Coleman), the two see the church door open and think that somebody's broken in. Sending Jasmine to fetch Emily (Kate McGregor) with the keys to lock up. Whilst she's waiting, Laurel lies down, relieved at having found somewhere cool but an unsuspecting Emily locks her in, along with Shadrach (Andy Devine) who's in there stealing wine. When Laurel tries to throw him out, she suddenly goes into labour leaving Shadrach to try to raise the alarm by ringing the church bells. Will Emmerdale's very own hunchback raise the alarm in time?Elsewhere, Billy (David Crellin) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) row over her persistent meddling in his and Val's (Charlie Hardwick) relationship, and she admits to still having feelings for Billy.Later Val convinces Billy to go the casino with her, but his mind is very much on Diane.

Meanwhile at the Sugdens, Diane and Jack (Clive Hornby) argue over Victoria's smoking (Isabel Hodgins), resulting in Diane storming out to the Woolpack.

She's surprised to see Billy there manning the fort after sending Val to the casino with Katie (Sammy Winward).

As he tries to get her to open up, Billy declares his love and the two kiss. As Jack enters, are they about to be rumbled?
