Carl (Tom Lister) sobers up and is appalled Jimmy (Nick Miles) has kidnapped him and taken him abroad. With Carl overseas, Matthew (Matt Healy) visits Barraclough (Glynis Barber) and threatens her that if the affair comes out it will end her career. Demanding to know what Carl has told her, she lies he told her Matthew killed Tom. Later, Matthew follows Barraclough home and barges into her flat, will he do something he regrets?Elsewhere, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) is dragged to the Woolpack for another day of work. Snooping around in the back room, she comes across Val's (Charlie Hardwick) cigarettes and just as she's about the light it, Val catches her. As Val warns Victoria about the perils of smoking, Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) enters, but will she be as forgiving? Meanwhile, Terry (Billy Hartman) is angry after TJ (Connor Lee) starts a fight at playgroup, thanks to Duke's (Dicken Ashworth) influence.

Duke is hurt when Terry tells him to stay away from TJ. Later, Terry berates him further saying all Duke did as a father was tell him to put up his fists.

Duke tries to defend himself but Terry is unforgiving. Is it time for Duke to move on?
