Kelly (Adele Silva) says her goodbyes to the villages, but does not receive the welcome she hoped in the photographer's studio, when she's informed her she has been dropped for another model.She rushes to Pear Tree Cottage to Jimmy (Nick Miles), only to be greeted by an unsympathetic Carrie (Linda Lusardi), who states this is her comeuppance for the abortion. The two exchange heated words and Jimmy enters to see Kelly slapping Carrie. Kelly explains the argument was purely because Carrie was winding her about about the failed modelling career, but will Jimmy find out the truth? After spending the night with Carl (Tom Lister), Barraclough (Glynis Barber) wakes up and is horrified to discover she is late for giving an important speech. Her speech goes badly and Vaughn (Richard Cole) lays into her in front of her colleagues. Feeling low and vulnerable, she allows Carl to her flat for support. Can he provide the comfort she's looking for?Meanwhile, Jamie (Alex Carter) is grateful of Louise's (Emily Symons) support for the new postman job and attempts to psych out Pearl (Meg Johnson) by telling her over-preparation can work against her.

However, Pearl charms the interviewer, despite her nerves, but Jamie is not as confident when he comes out the interview.

Nevertheless, Jamie is delighted when he gets the job, but did Louise have something to do with it?
