Jack (Clive Hornby) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) are amused to discover Victoria (Isobel Hodgins) fancies her teacher as she sets off on the trip. However, her dream outing turns into a nightmare when the activities are revealed to be watersports. With memories of the truck crash swimming in her mind, Victoria panics and attacks the teacher with a canoe paddle. Back in the village, Diane is shocked to hear that Victoria has been suspended from school. With no sign of Jack, Billy (David Crellin) accompanies Diane to school and explains the reason for Victoria's behaviour, earning her a reprieve. How will Jack react to this usurpation of his authority?Elsewhere, Marlon (Mark Charnock) convinces Zak (Steve Halliwell) to take Eli (Joseph Gilgun) off his hands, but Eli is less than grateful and explains that half of Marlon's house is his because of the robbery. When Eli tries to tell Donna (Verity Rushworth) the truth, Marlon concedes to his brother once more and allows him to stay. Donna pushes Marlon to get rid of him sooner rather than later, but will he risk the truth about the robbery coming to light? Also, Louise (Emily Symons) and Jamie (Alex Carter) continue their secret liaisons at the B&B with Terry (Billy Hartman) none the wiser. Later, Viv (Deena Payne) sees Jamie shopping for ladies gifts on the internet and he is forced to dodge her jokes and questions. Frustrated, Jamie asks Louise why they can't be open with the village, but she refuses to break the secrecy. Can Jamie keep quiet for much longer?
