Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is a bag of nerves on the day of Billy (David Crellin) and Val's (Charlie Hardwick) return from holiday. Her excitement at seeing Billy is soon dilluted by Val's insistence that she recount the events of the holiday in great detail. When they finally get some time alone, Diane's heart stirs when Billy tells her his relationship with Val has been stormy whilst away from the village. Diane urges Billy to bury his feelings, but can she do the same?Meanwhile, Marlon (Mark Charnock) is distracted from his and Donna's (Verity Rushworth) attempts at baby making by the unwelcome Eli (Joseph Gilgun). After warning Eli to pack his bags, Marlon returns from a hard day at work, only for his brother to ruin a quiet night in with Donna. A desperate Marlon tries to reason with Eli but the troublesome Dingle refuses to budge. How long will Marlon allow Eli to exploit him?Elsewhere, Victoria (Isobel Hodgins) and Kayleigh (Lily Jane Stead) plot to snare a sexy new teacher by going on a school trip. Daz (Luke Tittensor) teases them about their strange enthusiasm for more schooling, clueless as to their true intentions. The girls are horrified when Jack (Clive Hornby) gives them some unattractive, muddy waterproofs to wear on the trip and fear that their pulling powers will be diminished. Will Victoria's schoolgirl crush land her in deep water?
