Bob (Tony Audenshaw) panics when he receives a letter confirming Billy Hopwood (David Crellin) has been granted parole.He chooses to hide the evidence from Viv (Deena Payne) but faces Kellys (Adele Silva) wrath when she finds out. She is furious when it transpires that Bob could have prevented Billy from returning to the village, if he had told Viv, and demands that he comes clean to his family. Will Viv and the twins be safe now that Billy is a free man? Meanwhile, Matthew (Matt Healy) schemes as he warns Barraclough (Glynis Barber) that he will make an official complaint about Vaughans (Richard Cole) personal relationship with Rosemary (Linda Thorson). Barraclough immediately alerts Vaughan to Matthews threat and the chief agrees to back off for the sake of the investigation. Has Rosemary lost her security blanket?Elsewhere, Katie (Sammy Winward) takes the brunt of Andys (Kelvin Fletcher) anger over Billys release. Jo (Roxanne Pallett) tries to ease the tension and tells Andy he should convince Billy to stay away. Grateful for her support, Andy thanks Jo and the bond between them grows.
