Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) is suspended from school after her fees are not paid. Carrie (Linda Lusardi) drives over to Pear Tree and confronts the brothers, insisting that Scarlett wait in the car. Inside the house, Matthew (Matt Healy) is unrepentant, but the heartlessness of their actions hits Carl (Tom Lister). Meanwhile, Scarlett sees Jimmy (Nick Miles) entering Pear Tree and decides to follow him. Elsewhere, Daz (Luke Tittensor) is relieved that Billy (David Crellin) and Jack (Clive Hornby) have decided to be civil with one another. Jack invites Billy for a family dinner to try and start afresh. However, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is irate with idea and storms off, refusing to attend the meal. Meanwhile, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) bamboozles Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa (Jane Cox) by avoiding the subject of the Germany trip. Belle visits Rosemary (Linda Thorson) and drops hints about needing the money for the school trip. Will Rosemary stump up the funds?
