Undetected, Rosemary (Linda Thorson) overhears Perdy (Georgia Slowe) on the phone telling Matthew (Matt Healy) of her visit to the police. Just as she hangs up, Rosemary makes her entrance leaving Perdy uneasy as to how much of the conversation she’s heard. Later Rosemary confides in Katie (Sammy Winward) that she’s found a stash of pills behind the bureau at home and is concerned about what Perdy’s planning. Cleverly manipulating Katie, she states that she can’t tell Grayson (Christopher Villiers) for fear of what he’ll think of her, urging Katie to keep quiet too. Having planted enough fear in Katie’s mind, Katie tells Grayson and he discovers the planted pills. Perdy is shocked and denies everything. Confiding in Matthew, he urges her to take refuge at Home Farm but she’s determined to sit it out, confident in the police finding incriminating evidence in the drink. Unbeknownst to her, Rosemary has stepped up the campaign as she sits forging a suicide note from Perdy…Elsewhere, when Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) receives his decree nisi through the post, Jo (Roxanne Pallett) excitedly makes plans to celebrate. However, pride soon comes before a fall when Andy admits that the legal fees are more than he expected leaving him skint and unable to celebrate properly. Can Andy make it up to Jo?Determined to fight back, David (Matthew Wolfenden) makes plans ordering Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) and Betty (Paula Tilbrook) to add painstripper to De Souzas’ cleaning cloths, when they leave them unattended in the Woolpack. Furious that it’s done its work on the bar, Val (Charlie Hardwick) reveals to David that she’s given the De Souza cleaners the sack, leaving him to take back the contract.
