As Pearl (Meg Johnson) says goodbye to Danny (Cleveland Campbell), a watching Pollard (Chris Chittell) is reprimanded by David (Matthew Wolfenden) for invoking his eviction plan so soon after Len's death. Pearl is in despair when she receives the eviction letter and when Edna (Shirley Stelfox) kindly invites her to move back in with her, she stubbornly refuses. With the prospect of being left homeless, Pearl is close to breaking point. Will dastardly Pollard change a habit of a lifetime and have a heart?Meanwhile, Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) renews her attempts to help Daz (Luke Tittensor) with his education but he continues to resist her. Kelly (Adele Silva) notices that Scarlett is down and persuades her to have a makeover. Scarlett is unsure about the results, but Kelly continues to coach her on how to attract a man. With a face full of make-up and clad in one of Kelly's skimpy dresses, is this enough to put Daz off Scarlett for life?Over at the café, Val (Charlie Hardwick) is full of enthusiasm ahead of Sharon's (Victoria Hawkins) hen night but is knocked back when Sharon says she isn't having one. Not about to be denied, Val continues to make plans of devout tackiness ignoring Sharon's wish of a Wags evening at a spa. Are the two heading for another head-on clash?
