Dropping a huge twist on viewers last night (November 24), EastEnders have revealed that Vincent Hubbard is actually the man behind Ronnie Mitchell's capture, telling her that he's been working for the police since his arrival in Albert Square.
Knowing very little about the mysterious character, many thought that Vincent was coming to the soap as a huge villain, but now it could be that his double life has actually been for the greater good.
Aware that Ronnie killed Carl White in cold blood, he's also the man that she's called upon when committing other crimes such as making threats to scare Charlie Cotton away - but will he eventually turn her in to the authorities, or is he as crooked as many thought?
For now, he seems to be on Ronnie's side, handing her a plane ticket to flee Walford before she's arrested, and promising her that he can use his connections to ensure she's not followed.
Instead, Ronnie decided to go to the police station and plead self-defence in the case against Carl, but before she could step through the doors, Vincent tracked her down and urged her to see sense.
Reports are stating that despite this major twist, there's going to be at least one more to help fill in the gaps surrounding Vincent's past, and by Christmas we should know everything we need to about Vincent.
In Thursday's (November 26) show, viewers will continue to find out more about Vincent as Ronnie demands to know the truth about his background.
Catch it on BBC One at the later time of 8.30pm.
