Asking Linda to go with her not knowing her friend's own troubles, Mick meanwhile gets Elaine on-board to help plan a surprise for his wife, only for Nancy to ruin things with her speculation about Mick and Dean continuing.

Sharon's welcomed into her mother's house, but things are awkward when she meets her half-brother - someone who doesn't recognise her - leaving Linda to cover for her friend. Upon their return to the Square, Sharon decides she'll take charge of her problems, and over at the Vic, Linda hopes to bring her family back together with some important news.
