Whilst Roxy and Charlie keep close to Ronnie at her hospital bedside, Dot reminds her grandson that he now has his own child he needs to spend time with. Back at home, Yvonne feels guilty as she hears Nick dropping constant reminders that Phil had a huge part to play in the tragedy. Meanwhile, Ben heads over to the car lot to release his anger when he realises Max has gotten the best of him, and Tina takes her mother to the community centre, only for her to go missing. Shirley's holding a ladies' night in the Queen Vic, hoping to bring in some much-needed business, and Shabnam offers Stacey a loan who repays him by taking him out for the evening.

Yvonne's revelations leave Charlie horrified, and he's unaware that he hasn't been told the entire story, though Nick's more forthcoming about the role his ex played in the situation - just who will Charlie believe? Aleks soon comes to him in a panic leaving him with more to worry about - Ineta has gone missing and taken the baby with her. Stan doesn't believe Linda's story and asks Dean to stay, whilst Ben misreads Jay's friendliness after confiding in him, leaning in for a kiss but being rejected. Elsewhere, Shabnam is a little overprotective over the contents of her bag.

The ladies of the Carter family decide it's time Sylvie was sent to live in a care home, much to the disappointment of Stan, who Shirley hopes to cheer up by asking Dean to come around. Nancy and Lee return and are unimpressed to see Dean in the Queen Vic, prompting a surprise announcement from Shirley. Kush says he could be going to the Vic's ladies' night, so Shabnam makes a point of declining Stacey's invitation, whilst Masood tries to get out of the forthcoming half-marathon by faking a leg injury.
Friday, January 16, 2015 (8pm, BBC One)
Ladies' night comes around and Shirley's decision to invite Dean leads to a huge fight between her and Nancy. Sonia's fed up about everyone's talk of happy marriages, and as she comforts Tina and vice versa over their problems, it's clear the pair have something between them. The drinks flow and secrets are spilled, and the fact that Denise slept with Fat Boy comes to the surface. Shabnam lets her hair down around Kush, and vows to take Masood's place in the half-marathon.
