Tiffany Butcher is making a return to Albert Square in the New Year, with Maisie Smith set to reprise the role which show bosses promise will be “more like her mother than ever before”.

Having first joined EastEnders back in 2008 at just six years old, Tiffany quickly became a fan favourite character, being cute and cheeky whenever she appeared on-screen alongside her television mother, Bianca Jackson.
Now though, Tiffany arrives on the Square with chaos in her wake, and when she arrives on Whitney’s doorstep, it becomes quickly obvious that things will never be the same for her or her family ever again.
Speaking about her return, Maisie said: “It’s great to be back on the set of EastEnders. It’s been lovely to see some old faces and meet new ones too. I can’t wait to show everyone how much Tiffany has changed.”
Already filming her new scenes, Maisie was last seen in the soap back in 2016, when Tiffany made a surprise return alongside her on-screen brother Morgan for Whitney and Lee’s wedding. Before that, she had left Walford with her family, when Bianca decided she would make a new life in Milton Keynes.
During her break from the soap, Maisie ventured down another interesting path in the entertainment industry, proving she could be an entertainer in music and releasing a number of different songs and music videos.
Exactly how long she’ll be making her EastEnders return for remains to be seen, but if the young star is able to balance her acting and singing career perfectly, we hope she sticks to both and continues to deliver in all aspects of her working life!
