Dot Branning is finally going to face her day in court next month in EastEnders, after being charged with the murder of her son Nick Cotton. Now in a first look at those involved in the court case, we can reveal just who the BBC has been hiding up their sleeves and who will be included in the forthcoming episodes.
Overseeing proceedings is Judge St John Redmond, played by star of the stage and screen William Gaunt. He'll be joined by Ben Turner who's stepping into the role of Adrian Quinlan and fighting for Dot's freedom, whilst Jaye Griffiths plays prosecution member Helen Stritch - best known for her role in Silent Witness.
Phil's long-running brief Ritchie Scott, played by Sian Webber makes a return as he seeks her help in ensuring Dot can walk free, and Eugene Washington is also to star as the court clerk. Dot's court case is to broadcast on BBC One from Friday, May 8.
