EastEnders' Phil Mitchell will cheat on Sharon Rickman in a forthcoming storyline.
The Walford hardman will bed former flame Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) in coming weeks behind his fiancée's back - despite trying to move their wedding to an earlier date.
Credit: BBCPhil (Steve McFadden) and Shirley will give into their feelings for each other and arrange secret sex sessions around Albert Square. The pair, who had an on/off relationship for years, are both privy to big secrets about each other and Shirley recently admitted she still loves Phil.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Shirley and Phil know everything about each other, good and bad, it's part of their attraction. They feel like they can be themselves with each other.
"Add to that, they are both protecting each other. Phil knows Shirley is really Mick Carter's mum and Shirley knows Phil ordered the attack on The Albert that put Sharon in hospital.
"Now they are having an affair - another lie they are sharing. But how long can they keep it?"
While Phil attempts to juggle romances with both Shirley and Sharon (Letitia Dean), his bar owner fiancée is secretly plotting his downfall after discovering he had her beaten up in May.
Sharon has concocted an elaborate plan to steal all of Phil's money and enlisted the mechanic's former solicitor, the shady Marcus Christie, to help her.
