Jacqueline Jossa has revealed that her EastEnders character Lauren Branning is to find love with Peter Beale (Ben Hardy) in forthcoming scenes of the BBC One soap.
Despite her current involvement with Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), Lauren will embark on a relationship with her former flame once more.

She'll be finding love that's kind of been there all along and she's just been the only one that didn't know.
"I've been waiting for it for ages because it's been building up and building up and you've just seen glimpses and they've been best friends and were young love anyway so it's quite cute to go back to that.
"I think it's nice. Me and Ben really get on so it's been exciting to work together."
Now pregnant in real-life with Dan Osborne's baby, she was asked whether her character may also fall pregnant to which she replied: "I don't know. Maybe. It would be cool!"
She also admitted she feared that her pregnancy would prevent her from being involved in the upcoming 30th EastEnders anniversary.
"I am going to be there, luckily. That was one of the main things I was really worried about. I was like, 'Ooh perfect timing, child'. Seriously."
