Danny Dyer has promised Dean Wicks will finally get his comeuppance on 'EastEnders'.
The 38-year-old actor - who plays pub landlord Mick Carter in the soap - has revealed Matt Di Angelo's character Dean will finally get what's coming to him after raping Mick's wife Linda (Kellie Bright) last year.
Speaking about how seeing Dean get away with the crime makes him angry, Danny said: "It winds me up. I get the hump over it."
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins jumped in, saying: "We are going to wrap it up. It needs to. I can't take your temper for that long."
Danny added: "The geezer's going to get it. Don't worry. He's going to get it."
It's also been revealed the storyline will involve Mick wearing a wet suit.
Speaking at the Radio Times Festival, Dominic explained: "There's a lot of big resolutions coming in the New Year. Danny's been fitted for a wet suit and he's going into water..."
The 'Football Factory' star added that while he finds his work emotionally draining, his long-term partner and fiance Joanne Mas often teases him.
He shared: "She'll say, 'Oh did you have to pull some pints today?' ... I've had to draw on all of my acting skills to do it well."
