Annette Badland has commented in an interview that viewers should "Wait for Christmas!" to see some more sides to her character Aunt Babe.

"Everyone has a dark side somewhere and there are still some things that you don't know about her." said the actress in a recent interview.
Next week will see Babe in scenes on the show with Shirley (Linda Henry), where she'll threaten to expose her big Carter family secret at a dinner with their relatives.
Credit: BBC"I think she is that ruthless. She loves Shirley, but she also needs to protect herself..." Annette said, hinting at her character's drug business which threatens to be run down if Shirley continues to meddle.
EastEnders will air the confrontation between Babe and Shirley in their Thursday night show on July 31, at 7.30pm on BBC Two.
