Christian and Edward talk about Ian's party arrangements. Ian is stressed watching Steven chat to Edward and wonders what they are talking about. Jane consoles him and reminds him of his visit to the palace. Clare overhears and heads straight over to speak to Edward. Stacey gets a shock when she flicks through Steven's sketch book. There are countless pictures of her. Suddenly her mother's words about him being head over heels with her start to make sense. Edward quietens the room in order to make a small speech. He thanks everyone for coming.. and then uses the word trust. He glowers at Ian who realises what Edward is inferring. Has he blown it now? After his speech Edward confronts Ian. He knows why Ian has been flirted with him, Ian apologises. Edward accepts his apology, the invite is still there if he wants it and he can bring Jane too . Clare is furious.Clare finds Ian is lying almost naked and ready for his 'massage'. She explains he's got the wrong idea and is just leaving when they hear Jane return. Ian bundles Clare out the back and Jane enters to find Ian standing in the sitting room in just the pants.Everyone at The Vic is ribbing Charlie about his groping Yolande and he's forced to come clean - He was picking a humbug off her. But he had broken his diet. The pub all fall about laughing.
