Deano packs his things and moves to Shirley’s. Kevin is gutted and tells Denise that Shirley has won. It’s Denise’s hen night and the girls go to the Vic. Carly is annoyed that Shirley is working. Patrick tries to get in the party mood but Kevin is still upset about Deano. Shirley makes Denise down a drink in one. Denise makes a tipsy speech and Shirley watches on and pours Denise another drink. Pat tells Shirley to leave Denise alone and asks Shirley to step outside. They argue and Pat ends up giving Shirley a slap. Pat doesn’t believe Shirley when she calls the police. Meanwhile, Patrick gives Kevin marriage advice. Deano tells Kevin that he will be at the wedding.. Shirley makes more comments to Pat, who flies at her. The two are fighting when the police arrive and take them away. Jim, Dot and Bradley have had no sleep because of the baby. Jim worries that no-one will believe their story but Dot’s oblivious and besotted with George. Honey, Yolande and Peggy believe the story but Peggy wonders how Dot and Jim will cope. Max is incredulous that Jim and Dot have a baby – he’s not exactly a model father.Stella wants to talk weddings but Phil can’t see the point. She decides to ‘help’ Ben with his spelling but purposely makes him learn words incorrectly. She later tells him that his results are pathetic and Phil is going to be furious. Phil hands her some money to get a ring and tells her that he wants them to go away for the weekend as a family, much to Stella’s annoyance. She goes to tell him about Ben’s results but instead tells him Ben got full marks.Mickey’s intrigued about Li’s locked cupboard and breaks it open. He is furious when he realises she is growing cannabis and confronts her. He tells her to get rid of it. Later, Li pretends to cry when Mickey realises she hasn’t thrown it away. She claims she needs the money and tells him she’ll stop if he gets a job.
