Minty’s startled to find Garry sitting in the dark. Garry explains that he probably drank too much coffee yesterday and heads back to bed. He sits on his bed and looks at a ring in a box. Minty arrives at the Archers to overhear Garry on the phone, Garry rushes out explaining that he’s got errands to do. Garry stuffs his suit inside a holdall and memorises an address. He looks into the open drawer and hesitates. Minty leaves a voicemail for Garry saying they know about Lynn’s engagement, Garry pulls up outside a registry office on Minty’s scooter. Garry nervously puts on his tie and takes a call on his mobile. He tells the person on the phone that he’s arrived and that he loves them too… Garry sits waiting when Hazel (dressed in a cowboy wedding outfit) arrives. She tells him that his being here makes her the happiest woman in the world. Garry smiles with trepidation.Jim tells Dot they should contact the authorities about Tomas but Dot is insistent that his mother will come for him – God won’t let them down. Mo knocks and wants to know if they heard a baby crying last night. Dot denies all knowledge of a baby and tells Mo that Jim has a virus so she can’t come in. They are both shocked when Abi arrives who wonders if they had forgotten she was coming over today? Dot explains they are looking after Tomas for a friend. Jim suggests to Dot they call the authorities. An exhausted Dot tries to have a quick cigarette but Tomas starts crying. She finds a flier in the bag that Tomas was found in advertising a private club. She shows Jim, she thinks that Tomas’ mother might work there and wants Jim to go find out. Jim arrives at the club and tells the doorman (Raz) he’s looking for a girl. The barmaid refuses his money for half a lager. He tells her that he’s looking for someone. The hostess approaches him and asks for a drink – he’s thrown when she has a glass of champagne. Another woman, Claire, watches from the doorway. Jim explains that he is looking for someone, he realises that she doesn’t speak English and refuses to buy anymore drinks. A twitchy Jim is given his bill by Claire - it is for £112. Claire calls for Raz’s assistance – she explains that Jim can’t pay his bill…Jim tries to explain about Tomas as Claire looks through his wallet. She suggests that Raz take Jim to the cashpoint. Raz threatens him and Jim manages to get the money. Raz tells him that he remembers a girl who got pregnant but she’s long gone – her name was something like Abba. There is a knock at Dot’s door – it’s Anya. She’s angry with Dot for taking Tomas, she had chosen to give Tomas to the vicar at the church. Abi shouts at Anya to leave Dot alone. Anya agrees to stay for a cup of tea. Dot tries to give Tomas to Anya but she won’t take him. Jim returns home and Dot tells him that Anya is here.Naomi wonders what is wrong with Garry, she worries to Minty that Garry is backing out of the mortgage deal. Mo reveals to them that Lynn has got engaged – Charlie told Garry earlier. At the Arches, Minty and Naomi are getting ready to leave to sign the mortgage. Naomi looks for clues in Garry’s bedroom and finds the address of the registry office and the empty ring box. Naomi shows Minty what she has found – is Garry getting married?!Mo tries to convince Charlie that Dot and Jim have a baby in their house. Mo challenges Jim about being ill. She barges into Dot’s house – looking for her cat and is dissapionted not to find anything.
