Stella startles Ben who is looking at the burn mark. She puts a plaster on it for him and presses down a little too hard. Ben tells Peggy that he has scratched himself. Ben wonders if he should speak to Abi but Stella reminds him of what they have talked about. Phil returns and Stella tells him that they have had a lovely time together. Peggy mentions that Ben and Abi have fallen out. Stella is relieved to hear Ben tell Phil he had a good time. She’s delighted when Phil suggests that she moves back in. Stella is thrown when she sees Tanya leaving the kitchen having spoken to Phil. Stella explains to Phil that she was embarrassed about her argument with Tanya. He asks her to go downstairs whilst he has a chat with Ben. Phil tells Ben that he comes first and that he must tell him if he doesn’t get on with Stella. Kevin is banging on the door of Pat’s house. Denise eventually opens the door. He apologises for Shirley’s behaviour and offers her flowers. She takes some letters from the postman and slams the door in his face. Kevin offers a diamond ring to Denise and proposes to her. She tells him that she can’t marry him -a proposal doesn’t win back her trust. Deano, Carly, Libby and Chelsea try to decide what to do. Denise announces that she has found a flat in Leytonstone – they are moving. Carly leaves, leaving Denise reconsidering her move. Denise is looking at the engagement ring – she tries it on and gets it stuck on her finger as Kevin enters. He tells her that the proposal was a mistake and that he just wants her to move back in. Denise hides her disappointment and agrees to move back in. She hides her hands behind her back but Kevin grabs her hand and sees the ring. They bicker with each other and Denise tells him that she thinks they should give marriage a go. Deano gets a text message from Kevin telling him that Denise and he are getting married. Shirley is disappointed. Peggy suggest to Phil that Stella and him could be next.Tanya picks up the mail which includes a brochure for villas in Spain. She comments to Max that they can afford one. They notice Bradley and Stacey talking. Bradley is chuffed when Stacey suggests he comes round later. Stacey declines Max’s offer to pop over at lunchtime. He apologises for what he said about her outfit last night. She tells Max that she deserves more and she can’t see him tonight as she’s seeing Bradley. Max questions Bradley about his plans. He tells him not to get his hopes up as Tanya thinks Stacey is seeing someone. Bradley is disappointed and Max feels a pang of guilt. Stacey receives flowers from Max with a card asking her to meet him tonight. Tanya sees and wonders if they are from Bradley. Max has booked a hotel but Stacey turns him down. She starts to head off to Bradley’s. Max finds the villa brochure in his pocket. He runs after Stacey and tells her that he’s been thinking about the future and he sees himself with her. He wants to move to a villa with her. Bradley arrives at the Slater’s to find Stacey all dressed up. She tells him that she forgot about their plans and explains that she has got some unfinished business to attend to.Dawn doesn’t want her own place – she tells Rob that she’d be lonely. Dawn hates the flat. Rob wins her over by telling her that they’ll decorate it and it will be good practice for them setting up home together.Honey is pleased that now she is working that she can afford more things for Janet but Billy wishes that he was the breadwinner. Mickey laughs at Billy for preparing a business plan. Rob has looked at Billy’s business plan and suggests that he would be better off shutting the video shop and starting an online service.
