Phil is ready to leave but Ben tells him that he has a stomach ache. Stella offers to stay and look after him. Stella thinks that Ben and she should start over. Ben shows her a Mother’s Day card that he's making for Peggy and she offers to help him finish it. Stella suggests that Abi is jealous of Ben – they don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, perhaps Abi’s mother is cruel to her. She tells him that it is best if he doesn’t see her anymore. Abi texts him asking if she can come over. Ben opens the door to Abi and tells her she can’t come in but she barges past him. They sneak past Stella. Abi thinks that Stella might poison or brainwash Ben. They begin to wrestle over the card as Stella opens the door. Abi wants Ben to go home with her so they can tell Tanya everything but Ben is too scared to move. Abi calls Stella a witch. Stella reaches out to grab Abi but she runs out leaving her coat and dropping Ben’s card. Stella asks Ben how she can trust him. Stella thinks that Ben doesn’t love Phil – she only wants to make him happy but she can’t do it on her own. Stella opens the door to a furious Tanya. Stella flinches but Ben tells Tanya that Abi shouldn’t have come in – he’d promised Stella that he’d rest. Tanya is embarrassed when Stella shows her Ben’s card for Peggy which has been ripped in half. Ben and Stella watch a DVD together. He apologises to her for his past behaviour and she offers to make them some hot chocolate. Ben confesses that he didn’t feel sick earlier – he just wanted Phil to stay. Stella knew but she didn’t want to say anything. She takes the spoon from the hot chocolate and presses it hard onto Ben’s hand…Kevin tells Shirley that things didn’t go well with Denise yesterday. Yolande tells Denise that they can stay as long as they want. The Vic is decorated for a Comic Relief quiz night. Deano gives Shirley food for thought when he thinks that Kevin needs looking after. Shirley is in her element as she starts the quiz. Pat and Yolande agree to get Kevin and Denise talking. Pat manages to get them on the same team just as the quiz begins. Denise is uncomfortable with the situation and walks out and Kevin follows. Kevin doesn’t think Denise will ever forgive him. Shirley asks why and Kevin tells her that he never forgave her. Shirley starts to gabble into the microphone about the mess she has made of her life. Denise is mortified when Shirley asks her to do everyone a favour and marry Kevin.May tries to give Mickey a diet sheet for Dawn but he rushes off. May decides that they should rent Dawn a flat to get her away from her family.Stacey is unimpressed to see Sean and Chelsea all over each other. Chelsea makes a dig at Stacey who is not looking her best. Stacey books in for a full makeover and it mortified when Tanya tells her that she’ll do it. Stacey wants to know how Tanya always looks so good. Stacey tells Preeti she’ll do the rest herself and leaves. Tanya tells Bradley that Stacey is out to impress someone tonight. Stacey enters the Vic looking different, the blokes laugh at her and she runs out.Billy is worried about money. Honey wants to go to the quiz so they’ll need to find a babysitter. To stop Honey from going shopping again, Billy gives her a voucher for Booty that Jack bought for her. Billy is horrified when the cash point tells him that he has insufficient funds. Billy takes £10 from the till and can’t believe that he’s stooped so low. Shirley takes Billy’s last £10 as a donation at the quiz night. Honey is happy because Tanya has offered her the job as the receptionist at Booty – now she can buy Janet anything she likes. Billy feels like a useless husband and father.
