Rob and May are kissing on the sofa when he gets a text from Dawn saying “too late”. May is stressed about Dawn’s message. Dawn’s satisfied with the trouble she knows she is causing. Rob convinces May that their marriage is important so they won’t pander to Dawn. Dawn angrily checks her mobile but there are no messages. All dressed up. Dawn tells Mickey that Rob’s not going to know what has hit him. May has decked out the flat with candles and laid the table for two. Rob gets a text from Dawn saying “I need to see you”. Rob arrives home and May tells him to invite Dawn round – she’ll make herself scarce and Rob should do whatever he needs to do to get her back on side. Rob tells her that he can’t but May is at breaking point. Dawn comes round to Rob and May’s flat and isn’t impressed with what she sees. Dawn tells him to leave May tomorrow or there won’t be any baby. Rob tells Dawn that he’ll finish with May who watches them from the Square as they start to kiss. May leaves a message on the answer-phone saying she won’t be back tonight. Rob realises what May is doing. Mo intercepts Carly and tries to sell her some cheap cigarettes. Tanya sees Mo trying to flog her cheap cigarettes in the Vic and is suspicious. Honey helps Peggy in with her bags as she returns from her cruise. Mo tries to pass Pat a carton of cigarettes but Pat tells her to bring them to the bookies. Mo asks Tanya if Max wants more fags. Tanya realises that Mo sold the fags to Lauren who’d claimed they were for Max.Shirley asks Deano over for lunch. He reluctantly agrees. Deano tells Carly and asks her to come. Carly agrees and Shirley is delighted when Deano tells her. Deano arrives at Shirley’s for lunch. Shirley and Deano get stood up by Carly. Shirley suggests they go to the pub. Carly sees Shirley and Deano and flippantly asks them if they really expected to all sit down to a cosy family lunch together? Carly leaves. Deano is disappointed when Shirley simply suggests another drink. Pat tries to drag Deano away from Shirley and Stuart (a man she’s picked up). Shirley is flirting with Stuart and making Deano uncomfortable. A scuffle develops and Peggy throws them out of the pub. The fight continues outside until Shirley points out that Deano is her son. Stuart heads off and a drunk Shirley realises she’s not got her keys. Deano takes Shirley back to Pat’s house where she conks out on the sofa.Tanya catches Max finishing a cigarette – she chastises him, no wonder Lauren thinks it is cool to smoke. Sean sees Max and Tanya as he leaves the Slater’s with Chelsea. He grabs her and kisses her. Max tells Tanya that she should fire Chelsea today. Sean tells Chelsea that she should try and stay at the Salon. Chelsea arrives for work and tries to reason with Tanya who sends her home. Max takes the opportunity to wind Sean up. Sean tells Chelsea that she needs to get her job back. Sean visits Tanya at the Salon. He points out that she’s sacking Chelsea because of him. Tanya tells him that she hasn’t sacked her yet. Sean smugly tells Max that he’s had a word with Tanya about Chelsea. Money is pouring in on Darren’s website. Libby thinks it has gone too far. Darren suggests telling Li the whole story and getting her on board. Libby thinks that is a very bad idea. Darren shows Li his website, she pretends to be appalled and threatens to tell Mickey. Darren tells her he’ll pay her serious money to write some sexy emails. Li storms out but is delighted to have Darren where she wants him. Li negotiates a price with Darren for writing the emails but she wants the money up front.
