Bert’s got a splitting headache. He rips up the optician’s leaflets. Ian asks Bert for a deposit for the Chip Shop Flat. Social Services are coming round to check everything is okay with Jay. Pat offers to help him tidy the flat, he gives her the keys and tells her he’ll be back shortly. He hurries off with Patrick. Bert and Patrick are celebrating in the vic after winning £300 each at the bookies. Pat arrives and is angry with Bert – he needs to find a new skivvy. Bert doesn’t care. Ian has heard he’s come into money and wants the deposit. Bert and Patrick are getting drunk, they are leaving the Vic when they hear Jay shouting at Ian. Ian explains that Jay stole a customer’s buttie. Ian won’t involve the police if Bert pays his deposit. Jay tells Bert he hasn’t eaten all day because Bert didn’t give him any dinner money. Bert realises that he messed up, he watches Jay sleep, his responsibilities beginning to dawn on him.Chelsea tells Preeti about the naughty knickers party she’s arranged for her birthday. Preeti is horrified to hear that Li is involved. Darren agrees to lend Li £200 on the condition he gets it back by lunchtime. Darren tells Libby he’s already paid the website money. He goes to find Li to get the money back – she is with Mickey and gives him 50p and thanks him for the loan. Darren is furious, Libby tells Darren they have to pay for more bandwidth or their website will be shut down. Darren is furious when Li tells him that she can’t pay him back until tomorrow. Libby is furious to learn that Darren leant Li the money. She is about to leave when they realise that they have got 15 new subscriptions – they are rich!Stacey tells Max that she’s finishing things between them. Stacey is on the phone to her Mum and ignores Max when he enters the café. She tells Chelsea, Preeti and Carly that they can have the party at her house - Sean is going out for the night. Stacey is vacuuming like a woman on a mission. She gets a text but is disappointed its from Preeti and takes a large swig from a bottle of vodka. Stacey is downing vodka in the kitchen when Preeti asks her for some paper for party games. Stacey serves pizza to her guests. Li models some of the items on sale. Tanya tells the girls that she doesn’t need to wear rubber to keep Max happy. Stacey is uncomfortable. All the girls are drunk. Chelsea and Stacey don’t want to play Preeti’s games. Stacey falls over causing Chelsea to spill her drink over Li’s stock. Li demands payment for damaged goods. Tanya opens the door to Max who has come to walk her home. A fight builds between Li and the rest of the girls. Stacey’s legs give way and Tanya tells Max to look after her whilst she sorts the others out. Max tells Stacey that he doesn’t regret anything they’ve done – she’s a special girl. Stacey is confused; she wants to know what Max wants. He doesn’t answer, instead he kisses her gently on the forehead. She grabs his arm and clings to him. Max smiles – he knows he’s won…May and Rob are expecting Dawn back from her visit to Rosie’s. May promises Rob that she’ll stay away from her. Darren tells May that Dawn isn’t coming home today. In the pub May helps Keith with his sudoku and buys him a drink. Keith tells her - Mickey thinks Dawn’s met someone. Ben is struggling with his maths homework but doesn’t want Stella’s help as she will think he is thick. Ben is unhappy to discover Stella’s done his maths homework for him. He says he could have done it himself but she tells him that it must feel nice to make Phil proud of him.
