Ben and Phil are getting ready for their day together. Garry calls Phil asking him to go to the Arches. Ben is unimpressed. Phil asks Ian to look after Ben for a couple of hours. Phil tells Ben they will do something for Kathy’s anniversary tomorrow. Stella’s dress has stuck to the chair with glue – she rips it as she gets up. Stella is furious and tells Phil and Ben that they are welcome to each other. Ben tells Phil it really was an accident but Phil doesn’t believe him, shouts at him and tells him to get out of his sight…Pat tells Deano and Carly that they need to deal with Phil and the rent on the car lot. Pat tells Phil that they need more time as Kevin has cleared the accounts. Pat tells Carly that they’ve got until 5pm. Darren appears with some money making ideas but Carly’s not interested. Carly sees Darren and Libby outside the car lot with buckets. Darren explains his money making plan is to lure punters in and then sell them a car. Carly thinks it won’t work. Cars are queuing up at the car lot. Carly thinks they need a pressure washer. She heads to the Arches to borrow one. Carly is surprised to find Phil at the Arches. Phil asks Carly to do him a favour and finish working on the car so he can be with Ben. He’ll write off what she owes him. Pat returns from the bank having had no joy. She tells the kids to pack up – they are out of time. Carly finishes working on the car and asks Phil to talk to Pat about the money. He says he only wants money for the windscreen, not the rent. Phil arrives at Pat’s saying he’ll wait for the money until they get themselves sorted.Shirley tells Denise she’s heard Kevin is alive - it must be hard being dumped. Shirley asks if she’s moving out of Pat’s house now. Denise doesn’t rise to Shirley’s bait. Denise tells the girls she wants them to leave Walford. Tanya tries to phone Max, he arrives at the Salon and makes excuses about his phone battery not working properly. Preeti hears as Max reminds Tanya of their counselling appointment, she’s surprised he remembered. Tanya confides in Preeti that she has found a jewellers receipt for £200. She knows what Max has got her for her birthday and it’s not jewellery. Stacey books an appointment for her nails. Preeti mentions Tanya’s upset about a receipt. At the counselling session, Max thinks they still have trust issues. Tanya questions Max’s honesty she shows him the jewellers receipt and asks him who he’s sleeping with. Max pulls out a necklace that he was planning to surprise her with on her birthday. Max thanks Stacey for the tip off about the receipt. She wants him to buy a drink to say thank you. She doesn’t care that it is Tanya’s birthday tomorrow Bert fixes Yolande’s shelves in a bid for her to let Jay and him stay.
