Rob tries to talk to May but she is cold towards him. He rejects a call from Dawn. Rob tells May that they have to talk about what happened. May tells him that listening to him with Dawn was horrific. She won’t let Rob touch her – she feels guilty as he leaves the flat. Rob arrives home to find May all dressed up. She kisses him but is interrupted by his mobile, Dawn is calling. May rejects the call and tells Rob that Dawn has to learn that she is not at his beck and call. Rob kisses her. The passion is building between Rob and May when his mobile rings again. Again, they ignore the call. May goes to prepare some food, leaving Rob in bed. He picks up his phone – 10 missed calls. Rob tells May that Dawn has left him a message – she’s gone to her Mum’s and doesn’t know when she’ll be back. May begins to panic but Rob tells her that they need to give Dawn space otherwise she could do something stupid. Phil tries to explain to Ben that he is seeing Stella again – Ben already knows as he saw them kissing. Phil asks Ben to accept that he likes Stella. Stella visits Phil to find out how his chat with Ben went. He tells her that he seemed fine with it all. He suggests they all have dinner later. Stella is reassured. Stella arrives at the Vic. Phil tells her to get a drink whilst he finishes preparing dinner. Phil tells Ben that Stella is having dinner with them. He freaks out – he hates her. Stella hears everything and rushes out of the Vic. Ben glares at Phil and slams his bedroom door. Pat and Denise are concerned about Carly who has been in her room all weekend. They are worried when they hear her leaving the house without talking to them. Yolande visits Denise in the Post Office. She lets her know that she is there for her. Denise is evasive but is about to open up when Bert interrupts them. Yolande tells him that she got Jay off to school that morning. Bert scarpers but Yolande catches up with him to suggest that he think about transferring Jay to Walford High School. Bert tells her that he’ll think about it. Jay has broken into the Fowler’s. He relaxes and looks at the spoils of his thieving spree. Yolande comes in to find Bert and encourages him to be home for when Jay gets back from school – she’ll cook them dinner.Carly is in the Car Lot playing with Kevin’s rubber band ball. The phone rings and Carly hears Kevin’s voice on the answer phone. Carly is still in the Car Lot when the phone rings again. She can’t listen to Kevin’s voice again so she answers it. Pat notices a light on at the Car lot. She enters to find Carly closing a deal. Pat is surprised but tells her that Kevin would have been proud of her. Carly tells her not to talk about him in the past tense. She’s just going to keep his business afloat for him to come back. Bradley is tidying the kitchen when Lydia turns up – she wants a good luck hug. They kiss on the doorstep and he tells her that she’ll do a great job with her presentation. Stacey spots them from across the Square. Dot and Jim arrive home from their holiday in Clacton. She asks Bradley if he is still seeing Lydia. Bradley is thoughtful as he admits he is. Stacey enters the Vic, Max is aware that Bradley is watching her so talks up Lydia. . Bradley tells Max that he’s going shopping for a Valentine’s present for Lydia. Max thinks Valentine’s Day is a waste of time. Bradley approaches Stacey to apologise for her seeing him kissing Lydia earlier. Stacey is abrupt and couldn’t care less. Bradley has a go at throwing some darts, Stacey attempts to show him how it is done but is just as bad – they agree to have a drink together. Stacey and Bradley are enjoying each other’s company. She asks him about his weekend and he admits that he was helping Lydia with her presentation. Stacey tells him that it sounds really boring, Bradley admits that it was. Bradley attempts to tell Stacey something but loses his nerve. He goes to get them more drinks and rejects a call from Lydia. Stacey suggests that Bradley and her get some chips. Stacey decides to sit in the gardens and eat her chips. Bradley doesn’t want their afternoon to end so suggests he keep her company. Bradley and Stacey are outside their front doors. Bradley tells her that he’s had a really nice time with her. Stacey agrees, kisses him on the cheek and goes inside leaving a smitten Bradley on the doorstep…Tanya and the girls return home expecting Max to have cooked dinner, like they arranged earlier in the day. He arrives home and has to admit that he forgot. Tanya is furious and sends the girls upstairs. She tells Max that she can’t trust him to do anything, he forgets everything – including picking Abi up from school. Max is shocked that Tanya would still use that against him. Tanya eventually apologises to Max for her comments about Abi. She is worried about their marriage. Max tells her that he’ll do anything but is surprised when Tanya suggests marriage guidance.
