Rob wakes up to an empty bed. Dawn is about to call Rob when she is interrupted by Mickey. May is upset about Dawn’s outburst – just when things were starting to come together for them. Rob tells her that he’ll call everything off if May wants him to. May realises that she shouldn’t let Dawn’s behaviour spoil everything – six more months and they’ll be rid of her. May reminds Rob they have the anomaly scan that afternoon. May thinks it’s best if Rob deals with Dawn. Rob is relieved when May reassures him that she’s okay.

Yolande sympathises with May when she buys a magazine at the Minute Mart. May forces a smile and rushes out. Peggy is gossiping about Rob and Dawn but covers when May enters the salon. She wants to book a treatment. Peggy can’t believe that everything was happening under her nose. May is making her appointment with Tanya. Peggy continues to talk about Dawn until an exasperated May heads off. Tanya looks at an oblivious Peggy. Dawn enters the Salon to book a facial and takes in the disapproving looks from everyone. She is riled when Tanya pointedly tells her that she’s got no appointments available.

Dawn visits Rob to apologise for last night. Dawn persuades him to book a hotel so they can be together later. They are about to kiss when May arrives home – they quickly pull apart. May and Rob are talking about the baby. She suggests going out for a meal but Rob tells her he has to work late, he’ll crash at the office. May is low and tells Rob to go.Chelsea teases Libby about Darren. Deano is miserable about Kevin. Shirley calls round to see if there is any news. Carly chucks her out but Deano feels bad for his Mum. Deano tells Carly that Shirley was just trying to help. Carly tells him they don’t need her. Deano reluctantly agrees to stay away from Shirley. Shirley visits Deano on his stall to find out how he is. She reassures him that Kevin will be back. Deano is cold towards Shirley so she heads back to the Vic. Deano feels guilty. Darren asks Deano where Kevin is as he still owes him money for his shift at the car lot. He offers to open the lot in Kevin’s absence. Deano tells him to get lost and follows Chelsea into the café. He convinces Chelsea to go for a drink after work with him. He wants to keep busy. Shirley asks Peggy if she can have Dawn’s job. Peggy tells her to stick at one job at a time.. Carly and Mickey enter the Vic but when Carly sees Shirley she leaves. Shirley offers to buy Mickey a drink. Shirley and Mickey are having a laugh in the Vic. Deano and Chelsea enter. Deano is uncomfortable as Shirley drags them over to join Mickey and her. Carly leaves a message for Deano – she wants to make up for earlier. She sits on her own feeling vulnerable.Keith and Mickey worry about Dawn – Keith thinks he should call Rosie. Dawn overhears Keith saying that he thought she would make something of herself. Darren emerges from his bedroom, locks his door and heads into the bathroom. Libby chases after Darren – he blows her off, he’s got things to do. Chelsea teases Libby. Keith tells Dawn that he understands things are difficult but she can’t behave like she did last night. Dawn tells him she doesn’t care what people think of her. Libby catches up with Darren – he’s come into some money but doesn’t have time to chat. A shell-shocked Libby leaves Darren’s bedroom. He asks if she is going to tell on him but she decides to blackmail him instead starting with him walking her to school in the morning.May, Rob and Dawn return from the scan. Dawn isn’t interested but May is excited. Rob tells Dawn he’ll call her if he can get away.Beryl arrives for her money but Bert tells her to take Jay back. Beryl’s got bad hips and can’t look after him. She reassures Bert that Jay’s a good lad. Bert tells her that he’d be better off with her – he goes to get Jay only to find he’s gone. Bert bustles Beryl off to the Minute Mart to get Yolande while he half heartedly looks for Jay. Yolande and Beryl are looking for Jay in the café. Mickey tells them that Bert is in the Vic. Yolande finds Bert and suggests that he put someone else first for once. Bert finds Jay at the bus stop. He talks to Jay about needing stability. The bus doesn’t show up so Bert suggests they try again tomorrow. Jay reluctantly follows him home. Bert brings Jay home and Beryl takes Jay into the living room for a private chat. Yolande is impressed when Bert goes to make Jay something to eat. Beryl berates Jay for not behaving himself as they had agreed he would. Jay doesn’t care. Beryl goes to hit him but he catches her arm and intimidates her. Oblivious, Bert enters with a sandwich for Jay.Carly tells Mickey that she’s been fired. She snaps when Mickey suggests that Kevin will be able to find her another job. Carly suggests they go and get drunk at the Vic.
