Katy realises that she's missed her first personal trainer exam after telling Linda she won't be heading to Portugal, and so goes to the Rovers to drown her sorrows. Gail urges Andy to leave the Street once Michael's health has improved, whilst Kal and Zeedan enlist Simon's help in their egg scam, and Emily does her best to get Sean and Billy together once more.
In the second episode of the night, Chesney realises that he's the only thing standing in the way of Portugal and Katy, whilst Sinead's angry with her man for missing her physio session. Nick's lied to by Gail about why she was checking the payroll in the bistro, and Billy and Sean do their best to get past their differences. Elsewhere, Sharif pretends he's put his back out and asks Kal and Zeedan to read a bedtime story to the chickens.

Sinead tells Kirk she has hopes of changing Chesney's mind about letting Joseph go to portugal, and David's quietly pleased when Callum loses his temper at their first mediation session. Lloyd's pushed into taking Steve to a northern soul night by Andrea and Michelle, and Leanne suggests Kal should move in with her, whilst Owen hopes to salvage his relationship with the girls and Anna.
Friday, March 20, 2015 (7.30pm, 8.30pm ITV)
When Michael's aunt comes to No 8 with news of Gavin's death, Gail tells her that Michael won't be able to attend the funeral as he's at the hospital. Chesney tearfully clings on to Joseph as he, Anna, Owen and Izzy bid farewell to Katy, and Andrea breaks one of Steve and Lloyd's favourite chairs in the cab office. Sophie rips into her father Kevin for leaving Jack and Jenny alone, but Rita jumps to his defence.
Later, Andy's horrified to discover that Gavin died of a heart attack, and Katy visits Sinead in hospital on her way to the airport. Pleased to see Steve and Lloyd getting along, Andrea couldn't be happier for them as they repair the office chair, and Sharif offers to share his allotment plot when Roy's application is rejected. Elsewhere, Sophie and Maddy are confused by Jenny's strange behaviour during a meal.
