'Coronation Street's Dolly-Rose Campbell's mouthy character was inspired by some of her friends.
The 29-year-old actress - who joined the ITV soap briefly in 2014 before rejoining permanently earlier this year - based her striking alter-ego Gemma, the loudmouthed kebab shop worker, on various people she knows.
Speaking on 'Lorraine' show on Friday (15.07.16) the soap star said: "I think she's [Gemma is] brilliant. I really like her. What I bring to her is based on people I know. Some of the things that she does, some of the way she does stuff is kind of stolen from people, but I never tell the people."
Dolly has worked closely with Paula Lane - who portrays nail technician Kylie Platt - since her arrival on the cobbles and is devastated the actress has bowed out of the soap.
She explained: "I've always been with Paula since my first day, it's really strange [she's not there anymore]."
And the blonde star has admitted her character won't be around when Kylie takes her final breath in tonight's episode but has teased that it is truly gut-wrenching.
She said: "Gemma isn't actually there when she does die, but yeah the scenes were really emotional and we were filming them on the Street. Everybody - all the crew and everything- just watched it on the transmission."
