Coronation Street-David tries to convince her she's wrong
David (Jack P Shepherd) is horrified as Gail (Helen Worth) pieces together what happened - she has remembered the vicious row with him and she knows he was responsible for her fall. As a scared and angry David tries to convince her shes wrong as he was with Tina (Michelle Keegan), a stunned Gail realises Tina must have lied for him as well. David storms out to meet his girlfriend, who tells him she can't take it any more - they're over. David's distraught and warns her that she's the only thing keeping him going - he doesn't know what he'll do if she leaves him. As he arrives home to Audrey (Sue Nicholls) and Gail's accusations and continues to deny pushing her down the stairs, he's upset when Audrey packs a bag for Gail claiming she doesn't want to leave her in the house with him. As David's left alone to fester, it's clear he's on the verge of a breakdown. What will he do? Steve (Simon Gregson) realises Michelle (Kym Ryder) is upset that Nick (Robert Horwell) is spending time with Ryan (Ben Thompson) when she can't see Alex (Dario Coates), and decides to seek out a reluctant Alex. Steve admits that although he found him a bit of a pain - Michelle really wants to see him and cutting off contact with her just because he was told he couldnt live with them permanently was a mistake. Will Steves words make Alex reconsider his decision? Elsewhere, Liz (Beverley Callard) is annoyed when Vernon (Ian Reddington) and his builder/musician friends get a gig on a cruise for six months and decide to leave without completing the smoking shelter.
