After being caught skiving school, Ryan (Ben Thompson) reveals to Liam (Rob James-Collier) how upset he is about Michelle (Kym Ryder) telling Alex (Dario Coates) he can stay. Meanwhile, Steve (Simon Gregson) has becoming increasingly frustrated and he and Liam agree to try and make her see sense. David (Jack P Shepherd) is delighted that he and Tina (Michelle Keegan) seem to be back on track but Tina admits to Gail (Helen Worth) that she feels terrible about lying to him. Gail reassures her she's doing the right thing and tells her David's more fragile than she realises and informs her about David’s attempted suicide last year. Tina’s shocked, but has Gail persuaded her to keep the abortion a secret?Claire (Julia Haworth) is worried about Chesney (Sam Aston) when she finds out he hasn’t been turning up for work at the Kabin as Kirk (Andrew Whyment) has been forgetting to wake him up. Meanwhile, Chesney has received a letter from school requesting a meeting with Cilla as he's frequently late for school and failing to hand in homework. Will Kirk pull his act together? Elsewhere, Roy (David Neilson) returns from Africa and is impressed to find everything as he left it.
