When Wendy (Jane Slavin) arrives at the pub, Michelle (Kym Ryder) is forced to tell a devastated Alex (Dario Coates) to give her another chance and go home with her, but is hurt when Alex calls her a liar for promising not to kick him out. Meanwhile, Ryan (Ben Thompson) is delighted when Steve (Simon Gregson) breaks the news that Alex has left. He arrives home and tells Michelle that hes there to support her and is going to move back home. Michelles pleased to have Ryan back and suggests they all go out for dinner - how long will they remain happy families?Meanwhile, Kirk (Andrew Whyment) hasnt found a new job and while he stays at home setting mouse traps, Chesney (Sam Aston) discovers the washing machine is broken and makes his way to the laundrette. On his way, he bumps into Claire (Julia Haworth), who offers to do his washing. As Chesney scours the jobs page of the newspaper for Kirk, its clear Claires getting increasingly worried that he's not being taken care of properly. Later that day, Norris (Malcolm Hebden) arrives to complain about the noise and its clear Claires not the only one whos concerned about Chesneys wellbeing.Paul (Tom Hudson) reluctantly confesses to Jack (William Tarmey) that Dan (Matthew Crompton) was responsible for his semi-naked antics and feels guilty when Jack gives him a wad of notes to pay off his debt. Later, Dan reveals to Leanne that Paul has coughed up and as they flirt shamelessly, Paul explodes with jealousy. Will he confess his feelings to Leanne? Elsewhere, Gail (Helen Worth) is relieved when Tina (Michelle Keegan) agrees not to tell David (Jack P Shepherd) about the pregnancy.
