Tina (Michelle Keegan) is worried about having to wait for an abortion on the NHS and debates whether or not she should just tell David (Jack P Shepherd) - she feels guilty about lying to him. However, when she tries to break the news later she can't bring herself to do it and when Gail offers to pay for her to go private and go ahead with the abortion immediately, she's tempted. That evening, she tells a relieved Gail shes thought carefully and wants to go ahead with the abortion. Gail offers to make an appointment for her at the clinic and reminds Tina that David need never know. Will he find out? Steve (Simon Gregson) is annoyed when Michelle (Kym Ryder) refuses to call Wendy and continues to pander to Alex's (Dario Coates) plight but doesnt think shes handling things well and tells her that Alex cant stay forever. Despite, Steves disapproval, Michelles eager to spend time with Alex and takes him to the cinema that afternoon. Back on the street, Michelle confesses to Ryan (Ben Thompson) that Alex is going to be staying for a while longer and hes furious, feeling shes chosen Alex over him. He tells her he won't move back in until Alex goes. What will Michelle do? Ashley (Steven Arnold) is devastated that the butchers is having financial problems and tells Kirk (Andrew Whyment) he can't afford his wages anymore. Kirk's gutted but perks up when Ashley gives him a tray of scotch eggs for tea. However, when Ashley arrives at the house and sees the squalor he and Chesney (Sam Aston) are living in - he's worried. Later that day he shares his concerns with Claire and they resolve to revive the business and get Kirk his job back. Will Ashley be able to save the butchers? Will Kirk be able to cope with providing for Chesney with no job? Elsewhere, Jack (William Tarmey) is suspicious when Dan (Matthew Crompton) asks Paul (Tom Hudson) for a word. Pauls unnerved when Dan insists that he cough-up by Friday. Paul assures Jack it's nothing major but Jack's not wholly convinced. Will he find out whats going on?
