Gail (Helen Worth) feels terrible about David (Jack P Shepherd) and Tina’s break up and as she relates the events to Audrey in the café – Becky (Katherine Kelly) overhears them talking about an abortion and assumes they’re talking about Sarah. When she sees Jason (Ryan Thomas) in the street she comments that she heard them talking about an abortion and perhaps that’s the reason Sarah’s been avoiding him. Jason storms over to the Platt's and confronts a confused Gail about why she kept him in the dark. Meanwhile, David who is also convinced he’s being kept in the dark about something overhears Jason's row with Gail. As he probes her, she fails to get through to him and is forced to tell him the truth about Tina's abortion. David’s furious when he realises she and Tina have plotted behind his back to abort his child and storms up to his bedroom. Gail tries to explain things to him but he's livid and as he tries to leave the house, Gail blocks his path telling him he mustn’t go out in this state. As the red mist descends, he ends up pushing his mother down the stairs in a fit of rage.Has David killed his mum?Michelle (Kym Ryder) tries to be supportive about Ryan (Ben Thompson) calling Nick (Robert Horwell) and she goes to town to buy him a gift to say thanks for being so grown up about the whole situation. Later that afternoon, Nick arives in the pub to see Ryan - how will Michelle feel about Ryan and Nick spending time together? Carla (Alison King) is still annoyed with Tony (Gray O'Brien) for putting in a bid for Liam's (Rob James-Collier) share of the company behind her back and it's clear that Tony's getting more and more annoyed by her relationship with Liam. Elsewhere, Kirk (Andrew Whyment) goes to visit Chesney (Sam Aston) at the foster home. Chesney's clearly upset about the whole situation and when Kirk suggests they make a run for it, Chesney gets very upset as he tells him they have nowhere to go and it'll just create more trouble. Will Chesney be allowed to come home soon? Meanwhile, when a distraught Vicki (Wanda Opalinska) gets suspended for stealing the reject lingerie, Kelly (Tupele Dorgu) eventually confesses that she’s the thief.
